About the Role
The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing all marketing functions for KAPITOL, Sunset Hospitality Group’s social gaming concept that integrates food and beverage, interactive entertainment, and immersive social experiences. This role encompasses the development and implementation of comprehensive strategies across brand positioning, digital marketing, social media management, event planning, and strategic partnerships. The primary objectives are to generate strong pre-opening anticipation, drive sustained footfall, and support the venue’s long-term commercial success. This position plays a critical role in enhancing KAPITOL’s visibility in the market and establishing it as a leading lifestyle destination within SHG’s expanding entertainment portfolio.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic marketing plans aligned with business goals to drive acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
- Ensure consistent brand identity across all touchpoints, aligned with SHG’s lifestyle portfolio.
- Support operational and business procedures through marketing initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, target audiences, and opportunities in the gaming and entertainment sectors.
- Lead social media and influencer strategies to build community engagement and brand visibility.
- Create and execute impactful guerrilla marketing campaigns targeting key demographics.
- Oversee day-to-day management of the marketing budget, ensuring ROI-driven allocation.
- Manage agency and vendor relationships to support campaign execution cost-effectively.
- Oversee content creation for various platforms, ensuring alignment with brand messaging.
- Collaborate with PR, digital, and production teams for cohesive campaign delivery.
- Evaluate and optimize campaign performance, customer engagement, and marketing effectiveness.
- Tailor marketing to appeal to younger audiences and families while adhering to guidelines.
- Stay informed on industry trends and innovations to continuously improve strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing or Business Administration
- 8+ years of experience in marketing roles
- Confident, dynamic, and highly communicative personality
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Proven financial planning and budget management capabilities
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing tools and channels
- Expertise in short-form video content creation (e.g., Instagram Reels, TikTok)
- Passionate and knowledgeable about the social gaming industry
- Strong analytical, strategic marketing, and project management skills
- Solid grasp of business trends, market dynamics, and competitor analysis
