Job Summary:
Al Haadi Mobilya is seeking a highly organized and strategic Procurement Manager to oversee the sourcing and purchasing of raw materials, furniture components, and related services. The ideal candidate will ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining high quality and timely delivery standards. This role is key to supporting the company’s production and retail operations by building strong vendor relationships and optimizing procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective procurement strategies aligned with business needs.
- Source reliable suppliers for raw materials, hardware, fabrics, packaging, and other required items.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
- Manage purchase orders (POs), quotations, contracts, and documentation in an organized manner.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and conduct regular vendor evaluations.
- Coordinate with production, design, and warehouse teams to ensure procurement aligns with operational timelines.
- Analyze market trends and material costs to support budgeting and cost control.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements in procurement.
- Ensure all purchases comply with company policies and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4–6 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the furniture, manufacturing, or retail sector.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement software (ERP or inventory systems).
- Good understanding of material quality standards and furniture manufacturing components.
- Strong organizational and analytical abilities.
- Must be able to work full-time onsite at our facility.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in local and international sourcing.
- Understanding of customs and import regulations (if applicable).
- Ability to read technical drawings and BOMs (Bill of Materials).
- Familiarity with cost estimation and budget planning.
