Experience: 10 to 15 years of experience in product Handling of bulk materials preferably Fertilizer, involving operation of conveyors, warehouse and its equipment and Ship loading operation.

Job Description: To work in Urea Product Handling Section as Product handling

Engineer reporting to the Head of product handling department.

Responsible for Storage of Product Urea in the Bulk Urea Storage House, Operation of belt conveyors to receive and export, Storing Urea under the right conditions to avoid caking.

Responsible for Portal Bulk Urea Reclaimers’ operation to load the reclaimed urea on to the conveyors, Export conveyors and Ship loading paying attention to weather conditions, including relative humidity.

Operate Product Handling Section following safe practices and ensuring good housekeeping measures. Issuance of safety work permits in the absence of Head of the Department.

Participating in Ship Preloading and Post loading surveys and ensuring the ship loading is done in accordance with the Company Terminal Regulations.

Coordinating with maintenance sections to ensure all the equipment, Instrument and structures of the Product Handling Section are well maintained.

Supervising, guiding and mentoring the staff in the Product Handling Section.

Follow the integrated QHSE Management systems’ Policy and procedures and implement the operational activities to achieve the Company's objectives in line with the QHSE Policy. Report any deviation to the HOD.

Conduct regular safety tool box meeting of the department staff and contractors’ personnel and maintain records. Also, for all critical jobs, safety tool box meeting shall be conducted and the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) shall be discussed before commencement of the work.

Ensure reliability and availability of the Product Handling systems and equipment by following approved SOPs, best operational practices and monitoring operation of the Plant and equipment by site survey

/ patrol and monitoring DCS operation and control.

Ensure the operating parameters are monitored and recorded in appropriate formats in each shift.

Ensure safe isolation and handing over of equipment/plant sections for maintenance including during maintenance turnarounds as per the approved procedure.

Ensure that the plant equipment’s operational history and other applicable records are maintained as hard copy and in the ERP system.

Ensure all applicable mandatory (legal and other) requirements are strictly complied with in his area of operation.

Duty: 10 hours, 6 days a week

Salary: Based on experience from 600 to 1100 OMR (All Inclusive) – Based on experience.
