Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a dynamic emergency room setting.
• Triage patients efficiently, prioritizing care based on the severity of the condition.
• Perform assessments and document patients' medical histories and symptoms accurately.
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely, adhering to established protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal patient outcomes.
• Operate and monitor medical equipment crucial to patient care and diagnostics.
• Maintain patient comfort and ensure ethical, professional conduct at all times.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records through proficient usage of electronic health systems.
• Participate actively in department meetings and continuing education opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Respond promptly and effectively to life-threatening situations, performing life-saving interventions.
  
  

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice is mandatory.
• At least two years of experience in emergency nursing or critical care required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree from an accredited institution preferred.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications necessary.
• Strong ability to handle stressful and critical care situations effectively and calmly.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse patient populations.
• Proficiency in using medical equipment and electronic health record systems is essential.
