The Product Operations team at Careem plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient functioning and optimization of the company’s products and services. Acting as a bridge between product, engineering, growth, marketing, and operations teams, the Product Ops function drives alignment, collaboration, and smooth execution across departments.

What You’ll Do
As a Product Operations Associate at Careem Pay, you will play a critical support role in configuring and managing in-app content on our mini app. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of content strategies using our internal configuration tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- In-App Content Configuration & Execution
- Set up and manage content components and widgets on the Careem Pay mini app using internal configuration tools.
- Ensure accurate implementation of content aligned with product and marketing strategies.
- Execute updates with high attention to detail to prevent user-facing errors.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with Product Managers, Engineers, Marketing, Growth, and Platform teams to support timely rollouts of features and campaigns.
- Help ensure all in-app content is launched in sync with product updates and marketing plans.
- Content Quality & Consistency
- Maintain consistency and alignment across all in-app content modules.
- Perform thorough checks to ensure visual and functional quality in every release.
- Process Optimization
- Identify inefficiencies in current content configuration processes and contribute to improving operational workflows.
- Help document best practices for managing and scaling content operations.
- Basic Data Monitoring
- Support performance tracking of in-app content and surface insights for future optimization.
- Assist in evaluating feature impact through basic analysis or reporting.
What You’ll Need:
- Scripting & Tooling Comfort: Experience or familiarity with scripting tools or content management platforms (e.g., JSON-based systems, internal CMS tools, or low-code environments).
- Attention to Detail: Meticulousness when setting up content, executing configurations, and monitoring performance.
- Basic Product Understanding: Familiarity with how tech products function and how in-app experiences impact user behaviour.
- Communication Skills: Clear, effective communication to collaborate with cross-functional teams, share insights, and gather feedback.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights for improving content performance and user experience.
