Job Summary:

The Commercial country Director is responsible for managing and expanding the company’s import & Export sales operations. This includes overseeing relationships with international & Local growers and suppliers, coordinating logistics, and driving domestic sales growth. The role requires strong leadership, negotiation, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales & Business Development:
• Manage and grow seasonal import programs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with domestic customers.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
• Negotiate pricing and confirm product availability.
• Operations & Logistics:
• Coordinate with growers, brokers, and cold storage facilities.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of imported goods.
• Maintain accurate inventory and communicate availability.
• Financial & Administrative:
• Review and approve vendor invoices.
• Prepare wire transfer requests and manage grower payments.
• Assist with claims resolution and grower liquidations.
• Reporting & Communication:
• Provide pre-arrival updates and seasonal performance recaps.
• Maintain organized records of shipments, pricing, and market conditions.
• Collaborate with internal teams and international representatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in import-export sales or international trade.
• Strong understanding of logistics, customs, and compliance.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in inventory and sales tracking systems.

Additional Information:

• Occasional travel may be required for customer meetings, trade shows, or grower visits.
• Compensation is typically based on experience and performance.
