Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Market Analyst to collect and interpret market data to help our company make informed decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business and marketing trends, and the ability to turn complex data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscape
  • Analyze data from primary and secondary sources (surveys, reports, sales data, etc.)
  • Monitor and forecast marketing and sales trends
  • Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to stakeholders
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product, etc.)
  • Use statistical tools and software (e.g., Excel, SPSS, Tableau, Power BI) to interpret data
  • Make recommendations based on market insights to support business growth and strategic decisions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in market research or data analysis (entry-level roles may require less)
  • Proficiency in market research techniques and data analytics tools
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Familiarity with CRM and data visualization tools is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or certification in Marketing Analytics, Data Science, or related field
  • Experience in a specific industry (finance)
