Job Description
Assistant Manager- Financial Services will be working at Arthur Lawrence Business & IT Services, fulfilling the role in a variety of finance & accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities and Duties.
- Responsible for End-to-End Processes for the client entity/group/practice area.
- May be required to work in a project team in multiple capacities for a variety of Projects in Finance & Accounting environment as well as IT/IS based environment.
- Coordinate with Client’s onsite staff to resolve queries with a proactive approach. Preparation of Management Deliverable for periodic intervals.
- Responsible for operational support and manage transactional activities, focusing on General Ledger Accounting, Management & Financial Reporting, AP Processes, Cash Flow Management and Reconciliation Function.
- Monitor and manage outsourcing clients/vendor and reviewing monthly Service Level
- Agreement (SLA) to ensure achievement of key SLA metrics.
- Responsible for monthly reconciliation and ensuring compliance to US GAAP.
- Key contact for client, internal customer and vendor for invoice processing / payment related queries.
- Oversees the daily accounting activities required to maintain the Company's general ledger.
- Supervises, directs, and reviews the work of accounting team regarding day to day accounting work and especially during month end close process.
- Business writing in a variety of related domains to furnish information to internal as well as external stakeholders.
- Prepare Control Instruments and Log Sheets for the process review & control.
- Prepare and oversee the various reports as per client requirement.
- Review periodic financial statements and books to ensure completeness and accuracy book keeping operations.
Education:
- CA intermediate ACCA/CIMA/ACMA/CIA/CMA Member/Affiliate
- Master Degree with Finance Majors from a Top Tier University
Experience:
- 7-8 years of relevant work experience in total
- 3+ Years in Big 4 Accounting Firm in Assurance or Advisory
- 2+ Years in Industry at a Top Tier Organization
- 4+ Years in a Mid-Tier Accounting Firm in Assurance or Advisory
- Exceptions will be made on the right balance of Qualification/Experience
Language Requirements : Fluent in English (Oral & Written) as well as proficiency in Business Writing
Technology Requirements:
- Active Email & related tools usage
- Advanced Level Microsoft Office Skills
- Expertise in financial reporting
- Working knowledge of Quick Books or Power BI
Technical Requirements:
- General Ledger Accounting,
- Management & Financial Reporting,
- AP/AR Processes,
- Cash Flow Management and Reconciliation Function
- Familiarity with US GAAP/GAAS/FASB will be an added advantage.
- Budgeting & Forecasting along with usage of popular analysis tool is a plus
- Familiarity with US GAAP/GAAS will be an added advantage.
Salary : 100k-120k
