- JOB PURPOSE:
lead the implementation and maintenance of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), as well as Automation (E&A) in both factories in line with international regulation and organizational guidelines, enforcing that all MES-E&A activities enhance business objectives, product quality, and plant operation/performance while ensuring that people health and safety, product safety, and operation compliance are never compromised.

Strategic Contribution
- Lead the implementation of the annual business plan and targets and implement the strategic agenda of the Supply chain department to deliver NADEC vision and mission.
Leadership
- Serve as a role model to ensure employees’ awareness and commitment to NADEC vision, mission, values, and corporate strategy to establish a highly engaged and motivated team, and continuously improve performance.
Budgeting
- Lead the preparation of the department budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
Core Accountabilities
Maintenance and Improvement: Lead the maintenance activities of automation software and hardware, MES infrastructure, instrumentation, and calibration, ensure schedule compliance and completion of all maintenance activities related to MES E&A. Actively look for the training and development of competencies that are required for Automation personnel.
People Development: Maintain and develop the key MES-E&A core competencies by coaching/leading MES-E&A engineers and technicians in the Automation section. Ensure the development of MES-E&A talents, review career and succession planning, as well as the alignment of engineering and maintenance resources with the business strategies and objectives.
Project Management: Support and implement capital Investments ensuring the full alignment with standards, guidelines, business strategy, and priorities.
Conduct planning, and execution of electrical and automation projects for both factories.
- Lead engineers in project development and during execution.
- Develop and implement project descriptions, plans, timelines, resource requirements, costs, and other associated project details.
- Implement modification and improvements associated with PLC/HMI, MES, and MIS.
Compliance: Ensure full compliance in the areas of MES, Electrical, and Automation in terms of safety, quality, local regulations, organizational guidelines, and standards, and Engineering Functional Compliance.
Change Control: Ensure that guidelines and procedures are followed for software changes, including written management approval, and clear change definition.
Throughout all accountabilities, maintain a focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

- Adhere with direction for the development and implementation of the organizational unit’s policies, systems, processes and procedures, identifying potential areas of improvement to ensure efficient and effective operation.

Change Management
- Motivate the employees and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering best practices.
- Ensure that all departmental reports and statements are completed timely and comply with local and international principles of governance and the organization's policies and standards.

- QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor’s Degree/ Engineering in Electronics/Automation.
Experience:
- 3-4 relevant years of experience in Process Industry on a large-scale Automation control system environment, Integrated Processes, Multi brand control systems, Multi-Vendor Filling & downline Machines, process equipment and variety of instrumentation.
