Job Overview

We are looking for a Fraud and Risk Agent to help monitor and review transactions for unusual or suspicious activity. You will investigate possible fraud, work with other teams to solve problems, and help improve how we prevent future issues. This role involves working in shifts, including nights and weekends.

Job Description

• Monitor real-time transactions for suspicious or high-risk activity using internal and third-party tools
• Investigate cases of potential fraud, account takeovers, identity theft, chargebacks, or other suspicious activity
• Analyze fraud trends and contribute to the development of rules and strategies to prevent financial loss
• Escalate complex or high-impact cases to senior risk analysts or internal teams
• Collaborate with customer support, compliance, engineering, and legal teams to improve processes and reduce fraud
• Prepare accurate and timely reports on fraud incidents, resolutions, and risk trends
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fraud typologies, regulations (e.g., KYC, AML), and industry best practices
• Respond to requests from payment processors or financial institutions related to fraud or disputes
• Recommend improvements to policies, workflows, and automation tools

Job Specification

• 0-1 years of experience in fraud detection, risk management, payments, or a related field (preferably in fintech, banking, or e-commerce)
• Strong analytical and investigative skills with attention to detail
• Familiarity with fraud detection tools and/or internal case management systems (e.g, Salesforce)
• Understanding of regulatory requirements such as KYC/AML
• Ability to think critically and work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays if needed
