Job Summary:

The GRC Senior Director is responsible for overseeing the organization's governance, risk management, and compliance initiatives. They develop, implement, and maintain effective GRC programs to ensure the organization operates in alignment with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. The GRC Director partners closely with executive leadership, legal counsel, and functional departments to drive a strong risk and compliance culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish and oversee the organization's GRC strategy, framework, and policies to effectively manage enterprise-wide risks.
• Provide leadership and direction for the GRC team, including risk managers, compliance officers, and internal auditors.
• Assess the organization's risk landscape and work with stakeholders to implement risk mitigation and control measures.
• Monitor changes in the regulatory environment and update GRC programs accordingly to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Develop and oversee enterprise-wide training and awareness initiatives to promote a culture of risk awareness and ethical conduct.
• Prepare comprehensive risk and compliance reports for the Board of Directors and executive management.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for external regulatory bodies and auditors.
• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of GRC programs and implement process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, compliance, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in governance, risk management, and compliance roles.
• Strong understanding of applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing successful GRC frameworks.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with risk assessment methodologies and data analytics.
