A NetSuite Technical Consultant plays an important role in ensuring the successful deployment of NetSuite by providing technical expertise across the full implementation lifecycle. Their core responsibilities include system customization, integration, data migration, and post-go-live support.

Experience & Education

• 5-6 years of hands-on experience with the development of different NetSuite technical aspects.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
• NetSuite certifications (preferably SuiteCloud Developer)

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in SuiteScript 1.0 & 2.0
• Experience with SuiteFlow, SuiteBuilder, and SuiteTalk (REST/SOAP APIs)
• Strong grasp of JavaScript, SQL, and web technologies (HTML, CSS)
• Proficiency in creation of Advanced PDF

ERP & Functional Knowledge

• Basic understanding of ERP modules like Finance, Order to Cash, and Procure to Pay
• Experience customizing NetSuite forms, fields, roles, and dashboards
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable NetSuite solutions

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation ability
• Proactive, collaborative, and detail-oriented mindset

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain custom scripts, workflows, and integrations.
• Collaborate on the ETL process to migrate legacy system data to NetSuite (Customers, Vendors, GL, Inventory, Transactions).
• Creation of Advanced PDF’s
• Collaborate with functional teams to deliver tailored NetSuite solutions
• Ensure system performance and data integrity across processes
• Prepare technical documentation (solution designs, custom scripts, integration specs).
• Assist with technical deployment and environment setup (sandbox to production).
