Job Description
The Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting Sales Engineer is responsible for generating new sales opportunities for fire alarm and fire fighting system installations and maintenance, preparing accurate quotations, managing customer relationships, and ensuring project delivery meets the highest standards. The Sales Engineer must have strong communication skills, proven sales experience in Oman, and the leadership ability to guide and train technicians and support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Generation and Customer Acquisition
- Actively identify and secure new sales opportunities for fire alarm and fire fighting system installations and maintenance services.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to achieve agreed sales targets.
- Conduct site visits, client meetings, and presentations to promote company services and solutions.
- Quotation, Proposal, and Contract Management
- Prepare detailed quotations, technical proposals, and contracts in line with customer requirements and project specifications.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and scope of work professionally and in alignment with company policies.
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, submitted on time, and properly recorded.
- Project Coordination and Compliance
- Coordinate closely with project teams to ensure smooth handover from sales to execution.
- Oversee project progress to ensure installations and maintenance are delivered on schedule and compliant with Oman Civil Defense regulations.
- Maintain complete records of all sales activities, project documentation, and customer communications.
- Team Leadership, Training, and Supervision
- Provide leadership, guidance, and technical support to technicians and junior team members.
- Train staff on installation standards, safety practices, and customer handling.
- Monitor and evaluate team performance to ensure high-quality workmanship and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of proven sales experience in Oman in fire alarm and fire fighting systems.
- Valid Oman driving license (mandatory).
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with excellent customer engagement.
- Ability to prepare clear, detailed quotations and proposals.
- Technical knowledge of fire alarm and fire fighting system installation and maintenance.
- Leadership skills to guide and train technicians and support staff.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is an advantage.
