The Stockkeeper will be responsible for managing efficient day-to-day end-to-end warehouse operations, including inventory control, goods receiving, material issuance, documentation, and process compliance, as well as coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient logistics support for internal and external stakeholders. The role plays a critical function in supporting installation and service operations by ensuring that materials and spare parts are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and in a timely manner.
This role demands a proactive and highly organized professional who can lead with integrity, adapt to evolving warehouse technologies, and maintain high operational and safety standards per KONE’s policies and the regional regulatory framework.
Responsibilities and key activities:
Manage all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring timely and accurate receiving, storage, dispatch of materials, spare parts, and returns.
Ensure adherence to internal quality standards, company policies, and local regulatory requirements (HSE, Code of conduct, etc.).
Maintain accurate inventory records using SAP or relevant WMS tools and conduct regular cycle counts and audits.
Collaborate with procurement, logistics, field operations, and planning teams to ensure the timely availability of materials & coordinate deliveries.
Ensure all goods are correctly labelled, safely stored, and handled according to KONE and regulatory safety standards.
Ensure warehouse documentation is updated, organized, and compliant with internal audit and local customs requirements.
Implement lean warehousing and 5S practices to improve efficiency, space utilization, and reduce operational costs.
Supervise offloading, staging, and quality checking of inbound shipments; escalate discrepancies or damages promptly.
Coordinate with third-party logistics providers (3PL) and transporters to ensure timely movement and clearance of goods.
Support the implementation of digital tools and continuous improvement initiatives in warehousing operations.
Are you the one?
Minimum 5–7 years of hands-on experience in warehouse/storekeeping roles, preferably in engineering, construction, or industrial sectors.
Proven experience working with ERP systems, especially SAP (MM module).
Deep understanding of inventory control processes, storage practices, and supply chain principles, with solid understanding of HSE protocols and compliance within a warehouse environment
Solid understanding of warehouse safety, material handling equipment, inventory control, and logistics operations.
Familiarity with customs documentation, local regulatory compliance, and import/export procedures in Qatar.
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling and reporting.
High integrity, attention to detail, and a hands-on, solution-oriented approach.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, high-demand environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
