Job Description

Position Overview:

Aon is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accountant/Collector. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the collection and reconciliation of accounts receivable for our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for delivering accurate and timely results.

Key Responsibilities:

To prepare reconciliation of client/Insurance company accounts
To liaison with Internal department and resolve queries related to transactions
To liaise with Internal department and Insurance companies and arrange collection of outstanding premiums & commission.
To assist Credit Manager in the preparation of Ageing and related credit control reports
To ensure statements are dispatched to internal department and Insurance companies on a regular basis
To carry out allocation and matching of settlements as per details provided by insurance companies/Clients
To assist in identifying credit risk and in identifying doubtful debts & communicate to BM & FC
To ensure credit control blocking system of each month.
To provide all the reports to Head of finance within deadline.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, finance or collections
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience in the insurance or financial services industry is a plus
