What is the Accounts Payable Associate – Accounts Payable Asia group responsible for?
  • Ensure the timely capture, approval, coding and payment of invoices. Maintain a high standard of customer service to both internal and external customers while safeguarding financial controls. Perform other ad hoc department activities including research and miscellaneous project work #ASSOCIATE
What are the ongoing responsibilities of an Accounts Payable Associate?
Invoice Processing:
  • Capturing invoice details into the accounts payables system
  • Ensuring accurate coding
  • Inputting all high priority invoices on a daily basis
  • Inputting all standard priority invoices within 2 business days
  • Ensuring approvals are consistent with GCAP policy
  • Requesting assistance early if they cannot complete the assigned input within the specified timeframe
  • Maintaining established quality, productivity and timeliness standards
Department Support:
  • Running pay cycles according to published schedules
  • Research and reissue payment returns
What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be Successful?
  • Commerce graduate with MCom / MBA finance.
  • Understanding of taxation.
  • 1-2 years’ work experience with emphasis in accounting / financial transactions.
  • Knowledge of business desktop applications (i.e.: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access & Project, Windows, Visio, etc.) required
  • General knowledge of fundamental accounting and AP operations
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with people contacted in the course of performing assigned duties including company management
  • Ability to operate effectively in a deadline-sensitive and customer-service oriented environment
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment consistent with department guidelines.
Work Shift Timings – 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM IST
