Job Description
Job Summary:
The Account Assistant supports the accounting department by handling various financial tasks and ensuring accurate and timely processing of transactions. This role involves maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting and auditing processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, track payments, and manage account reconciliations. Ensure timely and accurate payment of bills and receipts.
- Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records and ledgers. Ensure all transactions are documented and filed correctly.
- Reporting: Prepare financial reports and summaries for management. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and internal records. Investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Customer Interaction: Respond to inquiries from clients and vendors regarding invoices, payments, and account status.
- Administrative Support: Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes. Provide administrative support to the accounting team as needed.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Education: I-COM/B.Com/Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Experience: Freshers or experienced both can apply
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Calculation & Data entry as well.
- Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy and attention to detail in financial record-keeping and reporting.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Sharp /creative minded person has been preferable.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines.
