Job Responsibilities

Research on various legal matters pertinent to employment law, contract law, banking law, tax law and property law and all other laws that may be applicable for legal queries of company.Review and draft refinance agreements, employment contracts, vendor contracts, security documents.Provide assistance to Head Legal in handling regulatory matters of the Company.Review and draft credit agreements.Maintain database/MIS of legal opinions and documents.Liaise with external law firms on the panel of PMRC.Assist and provide support to Head Legal to protect the Company’s business interest and ensure it complies with all relevant laws and regulations. Maintain all records related to refinance legal documentation. Provide support to the Internal Legal counsel in all legal matters when required.

Eligibility

At least LLB from a recognized local/foreign university. Candidates holding Post Graduate qualification such as Bar, LLM or LPC can be considered.

At least one year experience of Banking and Finance Laws in handling corporate/commercial legal matters. Knowledge of Islamic laws would be an added advantage.

Excellent written and verbal communication.
