Business context
The Assistant Operations Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing financial operations within the organization, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. They play a key role in analyzing financial data to support decision-making and ensure cost control across various departments. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance, provide insights on operational efficiency, and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations. Additionally, the Assistant Ops Finance Manager supports the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reviews and ensures alignment with overall business objectives.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage and monitor manufacturing budgets, track costs, and prepare regular financial reports with variance analysis.
- Coordinate the preparation of Capex business cases, including financial justification, ROI analysis, and alignment with business strategies.
- Lead month-end activities to ensure accurate stock reconciliation in the factories, resolving any inventory discrepancies and ensuring financial accuracy.
- Oversee budgeting, tracking, and reporting of Capex for operations
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to the operations team, supporting decision-making and cost optimization.
- Prepare financial reports and dashboards; conduct variance analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Collaborate with operations to implement cost-saving initiatives and improve efficiency.
- Maintain complete and accurate standard operating procedures and support control documentation requirements
- Ensure adherence to financial governance, internal controls, and SOX compliance requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Experience
- MBA Grad with at least 2 years of relevant work experience in Major MNC OR Graduate of Finance & Accounting with at least 2-3 years of relevant work experience (in Major MNC) OR ACCA, CIMA or CFA with 4 years Bachelors degree in Finance & Accounting, and at least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in major MNC.
