About the Job:

Here's your chance to step into the role of Associate Director - Talent Acquisition (Hospitality) at Dubai Holding Group Services . In this position, you'll take on key responsibilities that include:

  • Develop and maintain strong, consultative relationships with key business stakeholders in the Hospitality verticals, including HR Business Partners, hiring managers and TA CoE, ensuring recruitment efforts are aligned with organizational goals and workforce plans.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior leadership and hospitality business units on recruitment-related matters, providing insights, advice, and progress updates on hiring activities.
  • Guide and coach hiring managers on recruitment best practices, including interview methodologies, candidate assessments, and effective selection strategies.
  • Liaise with the sourcing team to ensure that talent pipelines align with the recruitment needs of various verticals and departments, particularly for Emiratization and specialist roles.
  • Ensure alignment between recruitment efforts and strategic workforce planning, contributing to the achievement of the organization’s emiratisation targets.
  • Lead and oversee the entire recruitment process from requisition approval to offer management, ensuring a seamless, efficient, and candidate-friendly experience.
  • Ensure the recruitment process is compliant with company policies, compensation frameworks, and employment laws.
  • Monitor all necessary recruitment approvals, ensuring that requisitions and offers have the required signoffs from business and HR leaders.
  • Develop and implement strategic recruitment initiatives that align with business goals, ensuring the attraction of top talent while meeting key objectives such as diversity, inclusion and Emiratisation.
  • Oversee and evaluate the suitability of all applicants against job requirements, specifically managing the recruitment process for senior-level and specialized roles
  • Establish and oversee metrics related to quality of hire, systematically evaluating the effectiveness of recruitment efforts to ensure that new hires not only possess the technical skills but also embody the organization's cultural and strategic objectives
  • Spearhead diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives within the recruitment framework, ensuring the development and implementation of strategies that attract a diverse talent pool and foster an inclusive workplace culture aligned with the organization’s values.
  • Enhance the candidate experience by overseeing the implementation of best practices that promote a transparent, fair and engaging recruitment process, thereby ensuring that all candidates feel valued and informed throughout their interaction with the organization.
  • Support the organisation in meeting its Emiratisation objectives by collaborating with vertical HR teams and recruitment teams to build effective talent sourcing channels and establish a robust UAEN talent pipeline, aligning recruitment efforts with Emiratisation goals.
  • Partner with vertical HR teams to ensure that the Emiratisation strategy is embedded within the recruitment process and that all hiring activities are in line with the UAE’s emiratisation guidelines.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the recruitment team, ensuring high levels of engagement, productivity, and performance.
  • Provide team members with coaching and guidance on best practices, process enhancements, and recruitment strategies to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality results.
  • Oversee the performance management and development plans of recruitment team members, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to meet and exceed KPIs and SLAs.
  • Drive the adoption of a Continuous Improvement Culture (LEAN Six Sigma) in the team in line with GS Strategy - manage continuous improvements projects for talent acquisition.
  • Evaluate and spearhead the implementation of improvement initiatives to refine recruitment processes, tools, and systems, driving operational efficiency and reducing time to fill while ensuring a positive experience for candidates and stakeholders.
  • Capitalize data and analytics to track recruitment performance, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance the candidate experience, ensuring a smooth, transparent, and positive recruitment journey.
  • Leverage feedback from stakeholders and candidates to make adjustments to recruitment strategies and processes where necessary.

About you:

  • UAE National with a Family Book as per government requirements
  • Bachelor degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. Master’s degree in human resources or professional certifications such as CIPD/SPHR is desirable
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in hospitality recruitment with at least 5 years managing a recruitment function, preferably in a shared services organisation
  • Experience in the interpretation of psychometrics as pertaining to employee competency, cognitive and personality evaluation.
  • Knowledge of sourcing channels, such as job boards, social media, and referral programs within the hospitality sector
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
