What You Will Do:
- Builds market position by locating, developing, defining, and closing business relationships.
- Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners.
- Discovers and explores business opportunities.
- Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, and financials.
- Closes new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Examines risks and potential for business opportunities.
- Manage projects and simultaneously collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders, balancing tactical and strategic issues while driving for results.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Line, and Engineering teams to identify high quality, market driven, new product opportunities.
- Synthesizing market and customer intelligence for the co-development of compelling go-to-market strategies.
- Analyze and communicate information, whether technical or non-technical to staff members and customers, in a clear and concise manner.
- Managing category and product specific pricing and profitability metrics to ensure company KPI's are met.
- Travel for customer visits, coordinate trade shows and promotional event.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
- 3- year minimum experience in International Sales required.
Physical Demands:
- Normal working conditions absent extreme factors
- Must be able to see well enough to read reports, send emails, etc.
- Must be able to hear and speak well enough to communicate with customers and vendors.
- Must be able to lift up to 25lbs periodically.
- Must be willing and able to travel long distances via car or airplane.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Self-motivated with a proven track record as a business development manager, sales executive or a relevant role.
- Proven sales track record.
- Working knowledge of markets and applications related to Oil and Gas and / or Artificial Lift methodologies, especially Electric Submersible Pumps (ESPs).
- Experience with product ion optimization software and software sales experience is a plus.
- Experience calling on and closing contracts with major Operators and Service Companies in Gulf Coast region, preferably contracts related to ESPs and/or software
- Ability to multitask, must possess excellent time management skills and creative problem solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with minimal supervision.
- Ability to collaborate and create a cooperative work environment between peers.
- Strong desire to learn and be a problem solver, striving to determine the root cause of issues. Formal training in LEAN, or Six Sigma a plus.
- Friendly and enthusiastic personality.
- Some travel (both domestic and international) required.
