We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Chief Security Officer to lead and manage our security team, ensuring the safety and security of both guests and staff.

Job Overview:

As the Chief Security Officer, you will oversee all security operations within the hotel, including monitoring and maintaining safety protocols, managing the security team, and implementing emergency procedures. You will work closely with hotel management to ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements while fostering a safe and secure environment for all guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies and procedures.
• Lead and manage a team of security officers, providing training, guidance, and performance management.
• Monitor and manage security systems, including surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and access control.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Handle all emergency situations, including evacuations, medical emergencies, and security breaches.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, fire safety, and health standards.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders.
• Maintain records of security-related incidents and reports.
• Conduct regular security audits to ensure best practices are followed.
• Oversee guest safety, crowd control, and event security for large gatherings.
• Promote a culture of safety and vigilance throughout the hotel.

Qualifications:

• Must have army background (Retired Captain or Major)
• Proven experience in a security management role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of security protocols, surveillance systems, and emergency response procedures.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies.
• In-depth knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements for hotel security.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Certification in security management or law enforcement is a plus.
• First Aid and CPR certified.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a customer service-focused mindset.
