Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Perform a wide variety of legal processing support work; interpret, explain and apply a variety of policies, rules, procedures, and regulations; learn to read and understand statutes and instructions related to court proceedings; learn to take and transcribe notes of court proceedings; understand and follow court procedures; establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with coworkers, the public, and individuals from other agencies. Maintain record of new inflow / disposal and court diaries as well. Moreover, Deals with bailiffs for issuance of Summons and Keep maintain the digital record of complete case files…

REQUIRED EXPERTISE:

1. Act as Advocate LR Court.

2. Manage and maintain record of Court’s case files fixed for hearing.

3. Assign case numbers and preparing summons for the defaulters in both English and Urdu.

4. Preparing and issuance of summons in coordination with Court Bailiff.

5. Reading Court files thoroughly in order to attend Court hearings in efficient and effective manners on behalf of IBC’s/Applicant and argue on the cases.

6. Ensure compliance of order being issued by the Special Magistrate.

7. Ask term (i.e. through email) for the settled cases where orders are required to be prepared on daily basis to avoid delay.

8. Draft final decision/order and mark the case as decided in court record and intimate to Data Analyst for closure of case.

9. Strict vigilance required regarding timely preparation and signing of orders from Special Magistrate and communicating the same to concerned officials without delay.

10. Using and updating portal by considering TAT on daily basis.

11. Coordinate with IBCs/Clusters for pre-requisite of daily cases fixed before Special Magistrate on standard format and present it to Magistrate one day earlier to hearing.

12. Taking brief from Consumers related information and communicate with them regarding case matters and inform same to the Special Magistrate.

13. Following up for comments and replies to be filed by IBCs.

14. Day before hearing, lineup IBC representative for attending hearing as well as consumer rebate details

15. Review SIRs /evidence/ replies to avoid discrepancy and placed the same with other desired documents including billing statement etc. to update the file before hearing.

16. Maintain and prepare daily court progress/hearings update i.e. hearing remarks, hearing diaries and schedule of upcoming hearings date wise.

17. Proficient in MS office

18. Any of other tasks assigned to remaining team members on demand/as per situation.

REQUIRED LEVEL OF EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION:

Law Graduate having 01 to 02 years of experience in relevant field.
