Position: Consultant Emergency Medicine - Saudi Arabia

Job Summary

The Consultant Emergency Medicine will be responsible for providing high-quality emergency medical care to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication and leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering compassionate care to those in need.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency medical treatment to patients in a timely and efficient manner
• Diagnose and treat patients with various medical emergencies, including but not limited to, trauma, cardiac arrest, respiratory distress, and acute poisoning
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for patients
• Oversee the management and training of junior medical staff and residents
• Participate in medical research and contribute to the development of best practices in emergency medicine
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families about diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and best practices in emergency medicine
  
  

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification/ fellowship in Emergency Medicine from recognized international board (e.g. American Board/CAN, Australian, UK, CCST, CCT)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant Emergency Medicine in a reputable hospital
• Fluent in English; Arabic language proficiency is a plus
• Valid medical license to practice in Saudi Arabia (or eligible to obtain one)
• Excellent clinical and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership abilities and the ability to work well in a team
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
