Job Description

A leading group of companies is looking for Contracts Manager in Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Contract Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing, negotiating, and managing contracts with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders. This role ensures that all contractual agreements are in compliance with legal requirements, company policies, and industry standards while mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract Negotiation and Review:
  • Lead contract negotiations with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for the company.
  • Review, draft, and revise contracts, ensuring all parties understand and agree to the terms.
  • Work closely with legal teams to ensure that contracts comply with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Contract Administration:
  • Manage and maintain records of all contracts, ensuring they are up-to-date and stored properly.
  • Monitor and track contract milestones, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure compliance.
  • Ensure all contract terms are adhered to throughout the contract lifecycle, from inception to completion.
  • Risk Management:
  • Identify and assess potential risks associated with contracts and take necessary steps to mitigate these risks.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standards, minimizing the company’s exposure to liabilities.
  • Address disputes and issues that arise during the contract term, finding solutions that are in the best interest of the company.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with project managers, legal teams, finance departments, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of contracts.
  • Provide guidance and advice to internal teams on contract-related matters.
  • Communicate with clients and suppliers to resolve issues or negotiate terms as necessary.
  • Performance and Compliance Monitoring:
  • Monitor the performance of contracts and ensure all parties fulfill their obligations.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to assess contract performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Ensure adherence to budget and timelines in accordance with the terms of the contract.
  • Reporting:
  • Prepare regular reports on contract status, performance, and compliance for senior management.
  • Track and report key metrics related to contract performance, cost savings, and compliance.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Management, or a related field.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in contract management or a similar role.
  • Proven experience in negotiating and managing contracts.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of contract law, terms, and legal frameworks.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret legal documents and contracts.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in contract management (CPCM, CCM) or project management (PMP).
  • Experience working with international contracts or across multiple jurisdictions.

Salary will be based upon experience and Knowledge.
