We are seeking experienced Credentialing Specialists to assist with the credentialing and enrollment process for our medical provider. This role involves working closely with payers and managing various enrollment processes, including transitioning to a new EMR system (Athena), handling NPI enrollments, and resolving Medicare PTAN and PECOS issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate credentialing and re-credentialing processes for medical providers.
• Facilitate Group NPI enrollment for select payers.
• Assist with Medicare PECOS enrollment and PTAN-related issues.
• Support the ERA and EFT setup process with insurance companies.
• Collaborate with payers to ensure timely processing of applications.
• Ensure compliance with all payer requirements and maintain up-to-date records.
• Coordinate credentialing tasks related to the transition to the Athena EMR platform.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in provider credentialing and enrollment with various commercial and government payers.
• Strong knowledge of Medicare PECOS and PTAN systems.
• Experience handling group NPI enrollments and insurance EFT/ERA setups.
• Familiarity with Athena EMR (preferred).
• Excellent communication, documentation, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience working with Athena EMR credentialing processes.
• Understanding of state-specific and national payer guidelines.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
