Job Description

As a Data Analyst in Revenue Operations specializing in commissions and compensation planning, you will play a key role in analyzing, designing, and optimizing our compensation structures. You will collaborate with sales, finance, and HR teams to ensure that our compensation plans are competitive, fair, and aligned with our business objectives. Your expertise in data analysis and strong business acumen will be critical in providing insights and recommendations to enhance our compensation strategies.


What You'll Achieve:
 

  • Analyze sales performance data to design and optimize commission and compensation plans.
  • Develop and maintain detailed compensation models and reports to track and forecast commission payouts.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and HR teams to align compensation plans with business goals and objectives.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure our compensation plans are competitive within the industry.
  • Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of compensation plans and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to senior management on compensation trends and best practices.
  • Maintain and update compensation-related data in CRM systems.
  • Perform regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with compensation policies.
  • Stay current with industry trends and regulatory changes affecting compensation and commissions.


What We're Looking For:
 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or Compensation Planning.
  • Strong understanding of sales compensation structures and commission plans.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, R, Python).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
