Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team and help transform data into actionable insights across our rent-a-car business. You will play a key role in optimizing fleet usage, predicting maintenance needs, enhancing customer experience, and supporting strategic decision-making through data modelling and machine learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze historical rental, fleet, and customer data to extract trends and opportunities.
• Develop predictive models to forecast demand, fleet utilization, vehicle maintenance, and pricing.
• Build machine learning algorithms for: Dynamic pricing based on location, time, and vehicle type, Customer segmentation for targeted marketing campaigns, Fraud detection in rental patterns.
• Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to define KPIs and create dashboards and reports.
• Clean, validate, and process large datasets from various internal systems (rental, GPS, CRM, etc.).
• Recommend strategies for optimizing fleet deployment and reducing idle time.
• Conduct A/B testing for new pricing strategies or feature rollouts.
• Work with IT to improve data infrastructure and support data governance best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as a Data Scientist, ideally in mobility, transport, logistics, or automotive industries.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or SQL
• Experience with machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, XGBoost)
• Strong command of data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
• Familiarity with big data platforms and cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Knowledge of geospatial analysis and time-series modeling is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
• Excellent communication skills to present findings to non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with fleet optimization or vehicle telematics
• Understanding of customer lifetime value modeling
• Background in working with IoT data from EV chargers or vehicle sensors

Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
