Job Overview
We are seeking a Data Scientist (Market Research Specialist) who can bridge the gap between advanced analytics and market intelligence. In this hybrid role, you will harness data to uncover consumer insights, inform strategic decisions, and collaborate with our Sales and Marketing teams. Key Responsibilities
- Market Research & Data Analysis
- Gather, clean, and analyze data from diverse sources (e.g., consumer surveys, sales databases, market reports).
- Synthesize data insights into actionable strategies, especially for marketing and product teams.
- Collaboration with Sales & Marketing
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and interpret surveys, focus groups, and other qualitative research methods.
- Translate analytical findings into market segmentation strategies, brand positioning, and go-to-market plans.
- Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
- Present complex data findings in clear, concise language for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support or lead qualitative research initiatives, ensuring insights are well-aligned with organizational goals.
- Continuous Improvement & Learning
- Stay current with the latest data science tools, market research frameworks, and industry developments.
- Adapt methods and techniques to evolving business objectives and emerging consumer trends.
- Data Governance & Integrity
- Ensure the accuracy, security, and reliability of all data used for research and analytics.
- Document processes and maintain best practices in data handling.

- Communication Skills: Ability to convey complex data findings in simple terms and collaborate effectively on qualitative projects.
- Marketing/Business Acumen: Proven exposure to marketing analytics, user behavior studies, or market segmentation.
- Flexibility & Willingness to Learn: Openness to acquiring new skills related to consumer psychology, branding, and qualitative market research.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong statistical background, critical thinking, and attention to detail.
- Domain Knowledge: Understanding of consumer behavior, brand positioning, and marketing principles.
- Team Player: Comfortable working cross-functionally and taking the initiative to guide or support market research projects.
