Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Data Scraper to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Python scripts to extract and parse data from a variety of static and dynamic websites using tools such as Selenium, BeautifulSoup, and Requests. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web scraping, data automation, and data manipulation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient and reliable web scraping scripts in Python.
• Utilize tools such as Selenium, BeautifulSoup, and Requests to extract data from dynamic and static web sources.
• Analyze and interpret collected data to identify patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
• Optimize scraping scripts for speed, reliability, and scalability.
• Collaborate with team members to integrate scraped data into internal applications, databases, or workflows.
• Conduct routine reviews and updates of scraping scripts to ensure continuous and accurate data extraction.
• Stay up to date with the latest web scraping tools, techniques, and best practices.
• Ensure all scraping activities comply with applicable legal, ethical, and data privacy standards.
• Engage with project stakeholders to define data requirements and deliverables.
• Provide documentation and training materials related to scraping tools and processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• 2 years experience in a web scraping or data extraction role.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with libraries such as Selenium, BeautifulSoup, and Requests.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, XPath, and web protocols.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Exposure to machine learning and natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
• Experience working with large-scale data extraction and processing pipelines.
• Understanding of API interactions and data integration methods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs60,000.00 per month
