Overall Role
Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring the company's Social Media strategy to increase brand awareness, improve marketing efforts, and enhance thought leadership.
Responsibilities
· Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of social media strategy for different groups’ entities through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging, and audience identification
· Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video, or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action
· Develop creative and engaging content on the digital marketing channels in both English & Arabic
· Set up and optimize company pages within each platform to increase the visibility of the company’s social content
· Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each community
· Create, implement, and monitor social media policies, procedures, and processes
· Create SM editorial calendars/plans and syndication schedules
· Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information
· Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales, etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players, and coordinate actions
· Measure the success of every social media campaign
· Use social media marketing tools such as Hootsuite, Talkwalker, etc.
· Collaborate with Top Management, Marketing, Sales, and Product Development teams
· Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
· Create and analyze Social Media Reports
· Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
· Develop & Implement Social Media & Digital Media advertising plan, including social media advertising, google advertising, digital displays, etc..
· Coordination with external agencies such as PR, Advertising, etc.
· Carrying out daily and weekly data analysis and reporting of activity of all social media forums
Required Experience/Knowledge
5+ years of experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role
· Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness, community engagement, and lead generation
· Proven experience in social media marketing and Digital Marketing in B2B and B2C industries.
· Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation, and communication skills
· Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge
· Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, and SEO
· Knowledge of online marketing and a good understanding of major marketing channels
· Positive attitude, detail, and customer-oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability
· Proven experience in social media marketing and Digital Marketing in education, management consulting, and training & development industries.
· Excellent knowledge of LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social media best practices
Education Background
BS in Communications, Marketing, Business, New Media, or Public Relations
