Draftsman Responsibilities:

• Prepare and produce detailed technical drawings, schematics, and plans based on design specifications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and feasibility of drawings.
• Revise drawings and plans based on feedback or design changes.
• Maintain an organized and up-to-date record of all drawings and documents.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations in all drawings.
• Assist in the preparation of material specifications.
• Liaise between the design team and the site construction team to ensure seamless project execution.
• Ensure that construction work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications.
• Address any issues or discrepancies between the drawings and site conditions in a timely manner.
• Conduct site visits to check progress and provide technical support to the site team.
• Coordinate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure materials and equipment are available when needed.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Diploma or degree in Drafting, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Mechanical.
• Proven experience in drafting and technical drawing (2D and 3D).
• Strong understanding of building codes, construction methods, and materials.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit,.(Proficiency in BIM is a plus.)
• Knowledge of site coordination, project management, and fit-out processes.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with different teams.
• Ability to resolve problems and handle site-related challenges.
