Job Summary:

The Ecommerce Onboarding Manager is designed to support the implementation of online merchandising strategies, collaborating with various teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.


Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

Product Categorization and Onboarding

  • Lead the onboarding of new products and monthly deliveries into PIM (Product Information Management) systems, ensuring timely and accurate data entry.
  • Strategically build and maintain the sales catalog to align with seasonal floor sets, supporting an optimized customer shopping experience.

Content Management

  • Oversee the collection, formatting, and uploading of product content from various sources, including copywriters, to ensure consistency and brand alignment on the website.
  • Develop and enforce content standards and best practices to elevate the quality of product descriptions, images, and other assets.

Reporting and Analysis

  • Generate, analyze, and distribute daily reports to cross-functional stakeholders, providing actionable insights to improve site performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve product content issues raised by customer service, the distribution center (DC), or quality assurance (QA), ensuring a seamless online experience.

Team Collaboration

  • Partner closely with the Ecommerce Merchandising Team to enhance product categorization strategies and improve the overall digital customer journey.
  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, development, copywriting, studio, and operations, to streamline workflows and deliver impactful results.

Product and Site Maintenance

  • Ensure all product information—including titles, pricing, images, and color options—is accurate, consistent, and up to date on the website.
  • Conduct regular site audits to verify product visibility, availability, and compliance with brand standards.
  • Liaise with technical teams to resolve product display or functionality issues efficiently

  • Strong ability to influence and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, vendors, and cross-functional partners.

  • Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and meeting tight deadlines.

  • Demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all product information is error-free and aligned with business objectives.

Problem-Solving

  • Proactively identifies and resolves challenges, using critical thinking to improve processes and drive efficiency .

Technical Proficiency

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms, PIM systems, and content management systems, with a proven ability to navigate and optimize these tools effectively.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in e-commerce, digital merchandising, or omni-channel retail management.
  • Demonstrated success in managing product information, website content, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
