Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Draftsman to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate electrical drawings, layouts, and schematics based on project requirements and site conditions. Experience in the construction industry, particularly in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) works, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, layouts, single-line diagrams, and schematics using AutoCAD or other drafting tools.
• Coordinate with electrical engineers and project managers to understand design requirements.
• Modify and revise drawings based on engineer feedback and site changes.
• Ensure all electrical drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and client specifications.
• Prepare as-built drawings after completion of projects.
• Maintain documentation and records of all revisions and project files.
• Collaborate with other discipline draftsmen (civil, mechanical, etc.) for integrated construction drawings.
• Conduct site visits when required for accurate drafting and measurements.

Requirements:

• Diploma/ITI in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5-8 years of relevant GCC experience in the construction or MEP industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other electrical drafting software.
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and technical standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and architectural drawings.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Preferred:

• Experience working on large-scale construction projects (residential, commercial, or industrial).
• Familiarity with local electrical codes and standards.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
