Position Title: Electrical Supervisor

Reports To: Project Manager/Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Supervision:
• Plan, schedule, and supervise the work of electricians and technicians.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, wiring, and equipment.
• Ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and meets quality standards.
• Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure adherence to electrical codes, safety regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Maintain proper documentation, including permits and certifications.
• Team Management:
• Assign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to team members.
• Train and mentor staff to improve skills and knowledge.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback.
• Problem Solving:
• Diagnose electrical issues and develop solutions.
• Address technical challenges and ensure minimal downtime during operations.
• Coordination and Communication:
• Collaborate with other supervisors, engineers, and project managers.
• Communicate project updates to stakeholders and clients.
• Ensure effective coordination between on-site teams and off-site resources.
• Inventory and Budget Management:
• Monitor usage of tools, equipment, and materials.
• Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Assist in preparing and managing budgets for electrical work.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including timesheets and progress reports.
• Provide detailed reports to management regarding project status and challenges.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Education:

Diploma or degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
Licensed as a Master Electrician or equivalent (preferred).

• Experience:
• 5+ years of experience in electrical installation, maintenance, or supervision.
• Proven leadership experience in a similar role.
• Skills:
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, schematics, and codes.
• Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in computer software such as MS Office and project management tools.
• Other Requirements:
• Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
