We are currently seeking a skilled Estimation & Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
As an Estimation & Design Engineer, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for fire fighting equipment and systems, as well as designing customized solutions for our clients. You will work closely with our sales and production teams to ensure that our products meet the client's requirements and are delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate cost estimates for fire fighting equipment and systems based on client specifications and project requirements
- Collaborate with sales and production teams to develop customized solutions for clients
- Conduct site visits and gather relevant information for estimation and design purposes
- Utilize AutoCAD and other software to create detailed designs and technical drawings
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all designs
- Communicate with clients and internal teams to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or issues
- Continuously research new technologies and industry trends to improve product design and cost-effectiveness
- Must have and experience in estimation of FAS , FAVE , PAVA , CBS and Emergency Lighting systems
- Ability to design Fire Alarm & Fire Fighting Systems for small, medium, and large projects
- Prepare detailed fire alarm system estimates based on project specifications and requirements.
- Review and analyze blueprints, drawings, and other project documentation to determine materials, labor, and equipment needed for each project.
- Collaborate with project managers and sales teams to gather necessary information and ensure accurate estimates.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather information and assess project requirements.
- Research and source materials and equipment needed for fire alarm system installations.
- Should have experience in Fire Alarm , Emergency, Lighting , Voice evacuation and PAVA
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- well versed with Fire and Line Safety UAE fire codes and NFPA -72
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in fire alarm system estimation or a similar role.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software
- Strong understanding of fire fighting equipment and systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of safety and quality standards in the fire fighting industry
