Export Executive

Job Description
Job Summary:
The Export Executive will be responsible for managing the export process from start to finish, ensuring compliance with local or international regulations as and when required, maintaining relationships with clients, freight forwarders, customs officials and stake holders. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of international trade dynamics.
Main responsibilities:
- Assist in identifying new markets and business opportunities in foreign countries, to extent collaborate with sales team for increasing international exports.
- Manage and oversee financial aspects related to export transactions, including invoicing and payment processes
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding export orders, providing timely updates on order status, shipping details, and any issues.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to facilitate repeat business with vendors, clients, customers.

- Ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, tariffs, customs laws, and other legal requirements to avoid penalties and delays.
- Identifying cost-saving opportunities in import/export processes, negotiating shipping rates, and optimizing freight routes to minimize expenses.
- Monitoring inventory levels, forecasting demand, and coordinating shipments to maintain optimal stock levels while minimizing excess inventory costs.
- Assessing and mitigating risks associated with international trade, such as currency fluctuations, geopolitical tensions, and transportation delays.
- Ensuring accurate and up-to-date documentation, including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and export/import licenses, and maintaining records for audit purposes.
- Providing support to customers regarding import/export inquiries, resolving issues related to shipments, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Liaising with internal teams (such as sales, finance, and logistics) and external stakeholders (such as customs authorities, shipping companies, and suppliers) to coordinate import/export activities effectively.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-4 years of experience in export sales and documentation, international trade, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with customs regulations and export documentation is desired.
- Proficient with MS Office suites and ERP or familiarity with similar planning software’s.
- High level of Proficiency in English is must; both in verbal and written communication.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Sales and marketing is required.
- Must be able to travel abroad.
Education:
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in international business, Business administration, Logistics, or a related field.
