Overview:
Our client, one of the well-established, fast paced Saloon with the head count of 70+ staff is seeking a dynamic and experienced Female HR Manager to help cultivate a positive, productive, and welcoming atmosphere for our staff and clients.
Job Summary:
The HR Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management within the two outlets, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, payroll, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies. This position requires an individual with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, as well as a passion for supporting the growth of the salon’s team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage recruitment processes, including posting job openings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with company culture and goals.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations.
- Oversee payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee compensation.
- Provide guidance to staff and management on HR-related issues, conflict resolution, and career development.
- Organize and conduct training programs for employees to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Coordinate employee performance reviews and provide feedback to support growth and development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace environment by organizing team-building activities and promoting employee engagement.
- Manage employee attendance, leave, and vacation schedules.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar HR role, preferably within the beauty or salon industry.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and payroll systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- A passion for the beauty and salon industry and a commitment to supporting staff development.
Education & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus.
