
Finance and Shipping Coordinator – Senior Executive
Position Summary: The Finance and Shipping Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accurate financial transactions, monitoring vendors payments, managing employee salaries, and handling various shipping-related tasks. The role involves maintaining financial records, performing bank reconciliations, coordinating with vessel agents & surveyors, and preparing necessary documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Payment related Job :
- Verify the accuracy of suppliers and contractors invoices and vouchers.
- Validation of voucher in ERP
- Ensure input credits are in compliance with VAT regulations
- Ensuring timely payments to suppliers and contractors.
- Perform weekly follow-ups on unapplied advances and keep management informed.
B. Monthly / Final account / Reports :
i. checks monthly bank reconciliations for multiple bank accounts.
ii. Prepare monthly expenses provision
iii. Prepare and review various financial reports (Profit & Loss a/c and Balance sheet).
iv. Prepare income tax return statements
v. Prepare monthly VAT return statements
vi. Coordinate with auditor for annual audits
vii. prepare monthly/quarterly reports for the ministry
C*. Salary for employees :*
i. Prepare deduction statement from employees (Mess recovery, Telephone recovery, water recovery etc).
ii. To check all salary related inputs are correctly updated in ERP
iii. To check overtime hours are correctly updated in ERP
iv. To check the data of Eligible employees of annual passage are correctly updated in the system
v. Process payroll accurately.
D*. Shipping related Job :*
i. Validate vessel nomination from buyer and communicate its acceptance/rejection to the buyer
ii. Coordinate for activities with the vessel agent from berthing of vessel to its de-berthing
iii. Coordinate for Draught survey before and after loading with surveyors
iv. Prepare shipping documents in coordination with buyers/agents
v. Prepare Tax invoices and follow for payments in line with sales agreements
Required Skills :
1. Proficiency in using ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
4. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
5. Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Education and Experience:
- B.Com/M.com with 7-10 years’ experience
- Experience in Fertilizer industry would be an added advantage
- Age not exceeding 40 years
- Ready to work in Factory environment
Salary: 650 to 800 OMR (Based on experience) and other benefits
Accommodation will be provided by the company
Duty : 10 hours , 6 Days a week

Pay: RO650.000 - RO800.000 per month
