Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and backend systems.
• Perform manual testing of UI components, workflows, and data validation.
• Test RESTful APIs using tools like Postman, Insomnia, or Swagger.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and validate bug fixes.
• Write and maintain automated test scripts for UI flows using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Perform regression, smoke, and cross-browser testing as part of the QA cycle.
• Contribute to test data creation and maintenance of testing environments.
• Report bugs with clarity using bug tracking tools like Jira, Trello, or ClickUp.
• Participate in sprint planning and ensure QA coverage for each release.

✅ Required Skills

• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile testing methodologies.
• Proficiency in using Postman for API validation and automation.
• Familiarity with Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or similar frameworks.
• Experience testing frontend apps built in React, Angular, or Vue.
• Basic knowledge of writing SQL queries for database validation.
• Good understanding of browser developer tools and console debugging.

Preferred Skills (Bonus Points)

• Experience with test automation scripting using Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Knowledge of continuous testing in CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, k6).
• Familiarity with mobile app testing (Flutter or native apps).
• Experience with code repositories (Git) and collaborative dev environments.
