Job Summary:

Lahore Institute of Health Sciences (LIHS) is seeking a highly experienced Female Psychologist & Psychiatrist for our children in Modern Children Homes (MCH) & Kashana campuses. The ideal candidate will work part-time (8 hours/day; 6 days a week on alternate days at the campuses) and will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and providing treatment plans for children facing psychological and psychiatric challenges.

The doctor will be responsible for maintaining detailed reports on each child’s condition, preparing monthly and annual or as required the summary and progress reports, and accompanying children to hospitals in case of any major medical issues (such travel allowance will be provided by the company). Strong documentation skills, proficiency in MS Excel and Word, and experience working with vulnerable children are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide psychological and psychiatric assessments for children at MCH & Kashana.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for children based on assessments.
• Monitor and document each child’s mental health progress and treatment effectiveness.
• Prepare monthly and annual reports or as required by the management on children’s psychological well-being and progress.
• Work closely with caregivers, teachers, and social workers to ensure a holistic approach to child development.
• Educate staff on basic child psychology and behavior management techniques.
• Travel with children to hospitals for specialized treatments or emergencies.
• Ensure strict confidentiality and ethical standards are maintained.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:
• MBBS with specialization in Child Psychiatry & Psychology (FCPS/MCPS in Psychiatry preferred).
• OR a Master’s/PhD in Clinical Psychology, Applied Psychology, or Child Psychiatry.
• Experience:
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Child Psychiatry/Psychology from a reputable organisation.
• Experience working with orphanages, foster care, or children’s homes is highly preferred.
• Skills & Abilities (SKAs):
• Strong understanding of child mental health disorders and treatment approaches.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel for report writing and data management.
• Excellent diagnostic and counseling skills.
• Ability to work with vulnerable children in emotionally challenging environments.
• Strong documentation, report writing, and case management skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong ethical approach to child confidentiality and care.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Rs80,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 48 per week
