Job Description

Job Title: General Manager – Catering & Facilities Management (FM), Qatar Region

Location: Qatar
Job Type: Full-time
Reports To: CEO / Group Operations Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager – Catering & FM to oversee the operations, business development, and strategic growth of our catering and facilities management services across Qatar. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, operational excellence, and a deep understanding of the regional market, with a proven ability to manage large teams, complex contracts, and multi-site operations.

Key Responsibilities:Operations Management

  • Lead and oversee daily operations across catering and FM contracts (cleaning, maintenance, security, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and quality standards across all sites
  • Implement and monitor SOPs to maintain service excellence and operational efficiency
  • Introduce cost-effective strategies without compromising service standards

Business Development

  • Identify new business opportunities and lead proposal development and contract negotiations
  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, government entities, and vendors
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and stakeholder meetings

Financial Management

  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
  • Drive profitability through revenue growth, cost control, and contract optimization
  • Monitor KPIs and implement performance improvement plans as necessary

Team Leadership

  • Lead and motivate a large, multicultural team across departments and sites
  • Oversee recruitment, training, and performance evaluations
  • Foster a high-performance, customer-focused culture

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hospitality, Facilities Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role managing large-scale catering and/or FM operations
  • Strong understanding of Qatar’s regulatory and business environment
  • Proven experience managing large budgets and complex service contracts
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and client relationship skills
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus
  • Valid Qatari driving license or ability to obtain one

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR50,000.00 - QAR65,000.00 per month
