Job Description

Aldar Education is currently seeking a Head of Key Stage for Mamoura British Academy in Abu Dhabi commencing in the 2025-2026 Academic Year. This is an out of class Primary Leadership Team role where the successful candidate will be responsible for a phase within the school to drive school improvement and raise standards.
Mamoura British Academy is a British curriculum school with a Lower, Middle and Senior School model located in a state of the art building in the heart of Abu Dhabi. B. Main Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the vision and the strategic direction of the school.
  • In line with the school’s Key Drivers, School Development Plan and USPs, support with and lead initiatives that drive school improvement.
  • Create and lead a vision for the department that promotes innovative learning experiences and high-quality outcomes.
  • Quality assure all aspects of the phase through the MER process.
  • Ensure that the learning opportunities for the children are innovative, purposeful and challenging.
  • Promote the pastoral care and wellbeing for all children within the phase by ensuring the schools systems and procedures are followed.
  • Line manage the Heads of Year within the phase.
  • Lead the data collection and analysis process within the phase and analyse data to identify patterns and trends that inform planning and interventions to support students.
  • Ensure that high quality interventions are delivered across the phase that support and challenge all groups of students.
  • Promote dynamic, creative and purposeful learning environments in line with the school’s USP.
  • Further develop and promote Industry Partnerships in line with the school’s USP.
  • Supporting with the retention and enrolment strategy across the school.
  • Contribute to the professional development of the team through leading PD sessions and offering personalised support to teachers.
  • Support the development of teachers within the team (including ECTs) through coaching, team teaching and sharing best practice.
