Al Marwan Real Estate Company is looking for a skilled and experienced HSE and Security Manager to join our team in Sharjah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining effective Health, Safety, Environment (HSE) and Security programs to ensure a safe and secure working environment for employees, tenants, contractors, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities :Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):
- Develop and enforce HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and identify potential hazards in the workplace.
- Investigate workplace accidents and incidents, and provide detailed reports.
- Recommend and implement corrective and preventive measures.
- Conduct training sessions and awareness programs on HSE topics for employees.
- Ensure all staff are familiar with safety procedures, emergency protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Promote sustainability initiatives and manage waste reduction programs.
- Implement and manage a permit-to-work system.
- Ensure adherence to safe work practices and standard operating procedures.
Security Management:
- Develop and enforce comprehensive security policies and procedures.
- Ensure the safety and protection of tenants, employees, and company assets.
- Implement and maintain security measures, including access control systems and CCTV.
- Oversee and manage physical security, perimeter control, and surveillance systems.
- Lead emergency response efforts during security threats, disasters, or workplace emergencies.
- Prepare incident reports and analyze security-related data.
- Identify and mitigate potential security threats, vulnerabilities, and risks.
- Train security officers on health and safety, fire safety, evacuation procedures, first aid, emergency response, waste management, and theft prevention.
- Supervise and evaluate security officers on routine patrols including checks on equipment, machinery, alarms, vehicles, contractors, and service rooms.
- Train staff on reporting procedures for incidents, daily patrols, and non-compliance.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 5–6 years of relevant experience in HSE and Security Management.
- Must hold recognized safety certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, HSE, or equivalent.
- Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).
- Basic computer literacy is required.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to remain calm and act decisively in emergency situations.
