Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and skilled HSE Officer with a strong background in documentation and Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management within the Oil & Gas and Construction industries. The ideal candidate should possess a minimum of 4 years of experience in the UAE and be highly proficient in implementing and maintaining HSE policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure safety and regulatory compliance on all projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • HSE Compliance:
  • Ensure full compliance with local and international HSE regulations and standards in all operations within the Oil & Gas and Construction sectors.
  • Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures, ensuring they are up to date with local regulations.
  • Conduct regular monitoring and inspection of worksites to ensure compliance with HSE policies.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
  • Develop, maintain, and review HSE documentation, policies, procedures, and safety protocols for all operational activities.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed reports, risk assessments, audit findings, and incident reports.
  • Document and track HSE training records, certifications, and compliance documentation for all personnel.
  • Risk Management:
  • Conduct site-specific risk assessments, hazard analyses, and ensure safe practices are being followed.
  • Identify potential safety hazards and implement measures to eliminate or reduce risks.
  • Support the development and implementation of risk mitigation strategies on-site.
  • Training & Awareness:
  • Lead and conduct HSE training sessions and safety awareness programs for all employees, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Promote a culture of safety and provide guidance to staff on proper HSE practices, PPE usage, and emergency procedures.
  • Incident Management:
  • Lead investigations into any incidents, accidents, or near-misses, documenting findings and ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  • Follow up on incidents to ensure continuous improvement in safety protocols and processes.
  • Site Inspections & Audits:
  • Perform routine site inspections and audits to monitor compliance with HSE regulations and standards.
  • Report audit findings to senior management and work on corrective action plans where necessary.
  • Continuous Improvement:
  • Advise and collaborate with management to continuously improve HSE practices and ensure the company’s HSE performance meets industry best practices.
  • Proactively identify areas for improvement and contribute to the development of a robust safety culture across all project sites.
