We are now seeking an experienced Industrial Designer to join our team and lead the design and estimation of our smoke management systems.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented Industrial Designer with expertise in SolidWorks to join our modular construction team. The role involves designing and developing modular components and systems, ensuring functionality, manufacturability, and innovation in modular construction solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design & Development: Create 3D models and technical drawings for modular components and assemblies using SolidWorks, optimizing designs for manufacturing and assembly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, architects, and the production team to ensure designs meet feasibility and project requirements.
- Prototyping & Testing: Support the prototyping and testing of modular components, refining designs based on performance feedback.
- Continuous Improvement: Propose and implement design improvements to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and ease of assembly.
- Documentation: Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing and assembly.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience with SolidWorks, preferably in modular or prefabricated construction.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in SolidWorks, with a thorough understanding of design for manufacturing (DFM) and materials selection.
- Soft Skills: Attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and effective communication skills.
