Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and skilled ID Fit-Out Draftsman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 4-5 years of experience, in UAE, working on interior design fit-out projects, preferably large-scale projects, in the Middle East. The role involves coordinating with multiple vendors to develop detailed shop drawings and ensuring the design specifications are executed accurately.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drafting & Detailing: Create precise and comprehensive shop drawings for ID fit-out projects, ensuring alignment with design intent and technical specifications.
• Vendor Coordination: Liaise with multiple vendors and subcontractors to gather necessary information and ensure drawings align with their work requirements.
• Project Documentation: Maintain and update project documentation, including plans, specifications, and drawings.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all drawings and documents comply with project standards, local regulations, and industry best practices.
• Design Coordination: Collaborate with project managers, architects, and designers to integrate design changes and ensure that final output matches project goals.
• Site Visits: Conduct site surveys as required to gather data for drawings or to verify project progress.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 4-5 years of experience working as an ID Fit-Out Draftsman, specifically on interior design fit-out projects (large-scale projects preferred).
• Industry Experience: Experience in working on projects within the Middle East is highly desirable, with familiarity in local regulations and standards.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of interior design principles and construction techniques.
• Ability to read and understand architectural and MEP drawings.
• Communication Skills:
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders (designers, vendors, contractors).
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to identify potential issues and provide solutions in a timely manner.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in creating drawings and documents, ensuring all details are captured.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Previous experience with large-scale fit-out projects in commercial, retail, or hospitality sectors.
• Familiarity with BIM (Building Information Modeling) and other advanced design technologies is a plus.
