Job Summary:

• We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Internal Auditor to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of our financial and operational processes. The Internal Auditor will conduct risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and financial best practices.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct internal audits to assess financial records, operational processes, and compliance with policies.
• Identify risks, inefficiencies, and control weaknesses, and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., SOX, GAAP, IFRS).
• Review internal controls to prevent fraud, financial errors, and mismanagement.
• Prepare detailed audit reports with findings and actionable recommendations.
• Assist in developing and implementing audit plans and risk management strategies.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure corrective actions are taken on audit findings.
• Monitor and evaluate financial transactions, expense reports, and budget adherence.
• Conduct forensic investigations when fraud or irregularities are suspected.
• Stay updated on audit trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field..
• Strong knowledge of audit methodologies, risk assessment, and internal controls.
• Proficiency in accounting and audit software (e.g., SAP, ACL, TeamMate, Excel).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Strong communication and report-writing abilities.
• Ability to work independently and handle confidential information responsibly.
• Preferred Experience:
• 2-3 years of experience in internal auditing, external auditing, or risk management.
• Experience in corporate, government, or financial institution auditing.
