Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Controller to manage our inventory operations. The Inventory Controller will be responsible for overseeing the flow of products from procurement to distribution, ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement inventory management procedures to optimize inventory levels and minimize stock outs.
· Monitor inventory levels and track inventory movement using inventory management software.
· Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and resolve any issues related to procurement.
· Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock counts with system records and identify discrepancies.
· Analyze inventory data to forecast demand trends and make informed purchasing decisions.
· Work closely with the sales and operations teams to coordinate inventory replenishment and fulfill customer orders.
· Implement best practices for inventory storage, organization, and handling to prevent damage and spoilage.
· Generate reports on inventory performance, including turnover rates, carrying costs, and stockouts, and provide recommendations for improvement.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process optimization and cost reduction.
· Investigate root causes of inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
· Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory requirements, and technological advancements in inventory management.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
· 03 to 05 Years of Proven experience in inventory control, preferably in the health and fitness products industry.
· Strong analytical skills and proficiency in inventory management software.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.
· Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
· Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
· Having strong knowledge or ERP.
