Looking for an IT Audit Manager for a digital bank in Abu Dhabi

Lead and perform IT, cybersecurity, and data audits, ensuring effective risk identification, control assessments, and compliance with regulatory frameworks (such as UAE Information Assurance Regulation, Data Protection Laws, etc.).

• Review and assess the IT risks of our cloud-based infrastructure and microservices architecture to ensure they align with best practices and compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain audit frameworks, methodologies, and practices that continuously improve our internal control environment.
• Work closely with other departments, including IT, Information Security, Legal, Compliance, and Risk, to ensure seamless audit processes and consistent implementation of corrective actions. Provide regular reports to senior management on audit findings and risk mitigation efforts.
• Provide staff with training on IT, cybersecurity, data governance best practices, and internal audit policies to create a culture of security and compliance across the organisation.
• Create an Audit platform and automation strategy, guiding the Internal Audit team through it, including managing Analytics Engineers dedicated to this function.

What are we looking for?

• 8+ years of experience in IT audits, cybersecurity management, or data protection within a financial services environment, preferably with exposure to cloud-based systems within a fintech environment.
• Expertise in performing assessments of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices architecture.
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity standards, frameworks, and compliance regulations (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, Data Protection laws, UAE Information Assurance regulation).
• Ability to influence senior management and stakeholders with strong communication and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with data analysis using SQL or Python and automation through programming languages is a plus.
• Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) and CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) are desirable.
